Italian Cooking Class
February 16, 2007 – Some of the TICOR members attended an Italian cooking class off site at Capri Flavors in Morrisville. It was a fun experience!
Members Joyce Mandikos and Helen Tam were busy cutting tomatoes for one of the dishes. Instructor Titina is on the right.
Member Steina De Andrade was showing her chopping skills during the cooking class. Don't you love that smile! Ingredients and preparation make a huge difference in the final product results.
Instructor Titina, a celebrated chef in her native Capri, demonstrated her cooking talent to member Grayson Hodge. Just to see the men in aprons was the best of all!
Titina is making helpful comments and showing member Jose Serrano the secrets of her Italian cooking. Jose is apparently absorbing every word.
After class, TICOR members enjoyed the fruits of their labor by sitting down to a sumptuous Italian feast. Special treats including Tiramisu were added to the bounty.
